Self-Defence for Racialised Folks & People Without Papers

This workshop shares practical tools anyone can learn to prevent, interrupt, and respond to harassment, abuse, or assault. Rooted in a legacy of queer and migrant communities protecting one another, we’ll explore how self-defence can be an act of solidarity as much as survival.

You’ll leave with verbal and non-verbal techniques you can use right away - whether to de-escalate, set boundaries, or support someone else in danger.

Open to all racialised folks and/or people from the Global South.
