We come together, we grieve together

In these times of collective loss and grief, alongside the urgent actions and organising, we need to sustain a space to tend to our mourning. Our grief is a portal to our desired futures.

Through a guided session of sound and bodily practice, storytelling, communal drink, and collective ritual, we will gently welcome our grief into the space, with no pressure or expectation of any prescribed outcomes.

Facilitated by Gamze Şanlı (she) - a multidisciplinary artist and performer based in London. Her craft weaves folklore and mythology, abolition and political resistance, death and witchcraft. Moving through different mediums, including experimental film, theatre, documentary, illustration, embroidery, poetry and music, she reimagines and reframes the world with a queering, anticolonial lens. Her activism focuses on radical pedagogy, creative and ritual spaces, and direct action.
